We certainly hope that everyone is staying healthy during this difficult time.
In order to pass the time... my daughters' Tali and Siena competed in the Marin School of the Arts Film Challenge "Coronavirus Edition". This festival took place on Sunday March 29th where over 30 teams had 7 hours to submit a 4-minute or under film.
My daughter Tali directed and edited the film "There's No Place Like Home"
and it won Best Story!
Thank you to the Marin School of the Arts (MSA) and Philip Chidel for organizing - and congrats to all of the other amazing filmmakers who participated!

Geoff Callan and Jeffrey Allard were the lead producers on the Award Winning documentary film THE PUSH and Geoff is very proud to have also co-directed the film with Grant Korgan and Brian Niles.
Special shout out to our creative partner Mike Shaw. Mike's creativity and editing was a huge help early on when Geoff and he began to re-write the film with Grant and Shawna Korgan during the "rebirth" of the project in 2015. Also, thank you to Roy Tuscany and the High Fives Foundation for being the inspiration behind the making of THE PUSH!
“An exhilarating sense of accomplishment... A satisfying adrenaline high”

THE PUSH is an award winning documentary about the power of never giving up. Grant Korgan is a world-class adventurer, nano-mechanics professional, and husband. On March 5, 2010, while filming a snowmobiling segment in the Sierra Nevada back country, the Lake Tahoe native burst-fractured his L1 vertebrae, and suddenly added the world of spinal cord injury recovery to his list of pursuits.
On January 17, 2012, along with two seasoned explorers, Grant attempted the insurmountable, and became the first spinal cord injured athlete to literally PUSH himself ~nearly 100 miles (the final degree of latitude) to the most inhospitable place on the planet – the bottom of the globe, the geographic South Pole.
This was a team effort and it couldn't have been done with out an extraordinary
group of creative and generous individuals.

We are thrilled to have attached Prison Break and 9-1-1 star Rockmond Dunbar to direct this feature film. Not only is he an accomplished director and actor, but having grown up in the East Bay and graduating from Oakland Tech, this story resonates with that of his own upbringing.
Co-written by the very talented Antwone Fisher, the film is based on the tragic true story of an inner city youth football team, coming up in the 90’s in Bayview-Hunters Point, and how the game on the field becomes a game of life and death on the streets.
To learn more about this dynamic fact-based inspirational story about the life and journey of Michael Hill, a humble young man and promising athlete from San Francisco’s most troubled neighborhood, Bayview-Hunter's Point.
