"Whether it is through humor or by pulling at your heartstrings, I am driven to create innovative films, television, and ad campaigns that will ultimately inspire, educate, and make a difference in the lives of others." - Geoff Callan

As a 5th generation San Franciscan and avid athlete, Geoff Callan is an award-winning director, producer, and accomplished actor with over 30 years of experience in film, television, advertising, and New Media. Geoff graduated from St. Mary's College, CA where he was awarded a NCAA Division I golf Scholarship and served as team captain.

With success on both sides of the camera, Geoff is currently the President & Founder of Emmett Brooks Productions where he has produced, directed, and/or written numerous award-winning films, documentaries, short and feature films, Super Bowl commercials sports television shows, original web series & content, as well as national and international social and media ad campaigns.

“An exhilarating sense of accomplishment... A satisfying adrenaline high”
- The Hollywood Reporter

“A must-see documentary for anyone interested in marriage equalityand the
larger issue of civil rights in America today.”
- Karen Ocamb, IN Los Angeles

This  emotionally charged film is groundbreaking as it puts a face on American citizens who strive for marriage equality when then San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom uprooted the status quo and changed the way the United States of America looks at life, love, and marriage, and ignites what became our nation's next great civil right issue.

Along with the film winning multiple film festival Audience Awards, Geoff and Mike were awarded the “Local Hero Award” by GLAAD and recognized and honored by 7×7 Magazine as an “Innovative Leader in the Creative Industry” (Category: Independent Filmmaking).  In 2013, Geoff was hand selected by SONY to compete as a director in the Napa Valley Film Festival’s SONY 4K FILM CHALLENGE.
